Following consultations with local producers and SATP, we decided to increase production and marketing deadlines to better support the sector. To fund these additional deadlines, the Business Improvement Grant for the Live Performing Arts sector will be paused this year. We plan to alternate offering the Business Improvement Grant and the Marketing Grant (Major Stream) to the Live Performing Arts sector each year.
Following consultations with local producers and ScreenSask, we decided that increasing funding for film development activities would best support the sector at this time.
